Why More Australians Are Getting Their Lungs Checked

For many Australians, getting their lungs checked is not about fear. It’s about having peace of mind.
Since the National Lung Cancer Screening Program launched in July 2025, over 60,000 Australians have already had their lungs checked. Many felt completely fine. They just wanted certainty about their lung health, especially after years of smoking or having quit smoking.
